5 mins drive to St Aygulf with all its amenities, marina, and a wide choice of bars/restaurants.
This pretty Provencal style Villa has 4-bedrooms all with air conditioning, boasts a newly constructed private heated infinity pool with alarm, beautiful seaviews and numerous terrace areas with views of the sea and countryside.
The villa is set within enclosed grounds and has a lovely wisteria covered pergola, which is ideal for (alfresco dining).
The town square of St Aygulf which is only a 5 minute drive away has plenty of supermarkets, bakers, butchers, banks with cash point machines and newsagents, also in the square a market is held every tuesday and friday morning and a nightly market can be found between July to Sept.
The Villa is located in the hills, but is only 0.7km to the nearest beach.
There are plenty of local beaches and coves within the St Aygulf and Frejus area with ample parking along the coast road. The beach also offers watersports facilities such as wind surfing, jet ski's, Para gliding & banana boat rides.
Within a 10 min drive from the Villa, there are numerous activities such as a waterpark with the largest wave machine in Europe, large fun fair with spectacular rides, Go - Karting for all ages & for a more leisurely pursuit, there is horse & pony riding & fishing.
For the serious golfer, there are 3 x 18 hole courses within a 15 mins drive & slightly further a field are 3 additional courses, all within a 30 mins drive.
For the keen sightseer, Frejus has plenty of historic sites to visit such as early Roman settlement, amphitheatre, aquaduct & extensive city walls. Frejus Old Town has a beautiful square with a lovely Cathedral.
The largest town is St. Raphael that is only 6.5km drive away. The area boasts nearly 35 km of innumerable large and small sandy beaches & there are several harbours stretching along the coastline.The main beachfront hosts a very large market every evening from June until the end of August and each Sunday morning throughout the year. St. Raphael/Frejus caters for the whole family with a variety of restaurants, fast food outlets as well as a a number of bars & nighclubs that remain open until the early hours. St Rapheal also boasts a Casino which is open to non members, but the casual visitor requires a passport on entry. Along the beach front, there are rides such as a carousel to entertain the younger members of the family.
St Raphael/Valescure train station is connected to the superfast TGV train network, which runs daily services to Paris & Lille.
Also, there is a three times a day bus shuttle that runs a return service between St Raphael/Frejus to Nice airport, which is an hour's journey.
For those who can tear themselves away from the pool, you can enjoy a variety of day trips which offer something for everyone such as wine tasting in Roquebrune. The Gorge du Verdon - one of the most spectacular canyons in Europe is less than an hour away & the towns of St Paul de Vence, Fayence & the perfume manufacturing town of Grasse are all less than an hour drive. For those who enjoy beautiful views or the odd bit of fishing, you can visit Lake Cassin, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Europe that also has watersports facilities too hand!
For those who like their glitz & glamour or just enjoy window shopping, visit Monaco, St Tropez , Nice and Cannes.
