Well, to say it has been a weird March and April is an understatement! We are open now for trap and clays with new procedures in place, our client’s safety is, as always, first and foremost. As we look to the hunting season this fall, we have a good plan in case COVID-19 phases come back. Here are a couple of new items we have set up-
- • Right now, we are planting the rice fields at the Farm Property which is 1,000 acres and we have our Duck Shack, which is 400 acres. Both properties will be available if we need do some social distancing of groups. • 20 Bird Pheasant card can again be split, BUT only one person from the card can hunt on any given day.
• The club is starting a week earlier in case of any down time during the season and we would extend the season with equal days if needed during the spring. (We are a B zone club and can hunt Sept 1- May 31)
• There are only a couple changes we would have to make to follow all rules at this time regarding COVID 19 – checking in and out done from trucks (curbside), no cleaning room, limited vehicles in each parking lot. Outdoor recreation is an essential activity.
